
About Us

Dr. VJ hails from Southern India where he began his medical education ad then transitioned to London, United Kingdom to complete his MRCP. He then moved to one of the busiest hospitals in our country, Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and gained enormous knowledge and practiced as an assistant professor at the Cleveland Clinic – a world-renowned cardiac care hospital. After completing his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships for 4 more years, he joined University of Texas Houston. He now joined CLS multi-specialty group. He treats a variety of cardiovascular conditions and performs a complex array of interventions. Dr. VJ is a huge proponent of applying patient feedback and believes in offering personalized care; based on each patient’s individual needs and lifestyle. He treats adult and senior patients with compassion and values their healthcare experience.

As part of his dedication to learning, Dr. VJ maintains professional memberships with several physician organizations. Dr. VJ has received numerous awards for teaching and patient care. Other than reading about the latest research in CVD, he enjoys playing ping pong, watching tennis, cricket, movies, and reading about gadgets.
